Skiing & Winter Adventures for families

Do you remember when you were on skis for the first time? A big day! During a ski course, children get to know our mascot Burmi - and the love of skiing! Ready for blue and red slopes? Check out family slopes on Kanzelwand or in the family friendly skiing area Heuberg/Parsenn or on Ifen. Haven't booked a yourselves a place to stay just yet? As a family you might prefer accommodation which is located close to the slopes of the valley ski area. Not a skier but still want to have fun in the snow? Go tobogganing or hiking! In Kleinwalsertal there are groomed winter hiking trails with huts for refreshments along the way. Equipment and ski rentals can be found at the sport shops in Riezlern, Mittelberg and Hirschegg.     Ready, set, go! In Mittelberg and Hirschegg you can go down hill on four toboggan slopes with sledges and snowtubes. Behind the church in Mittelberg, the travellator returns to the top.

    Burmis Winter world

    Our marmot mascot Burmi knows no hibernation! Watch out you might meet him perhaps in Burmi's winter world: The practice area at the Gaisbühllift in the Ifen ski area is perfect for beginners. Conveyor belts and a tow lift bring them safely to the slope before gates and figures at the slalom slope have to be avoided...

    Burmi Descent

    The Burmi run is located in the family ski area Heuberg. Let's start at the mountain station of the Heubergmulde lift. The descent crosses the Heubergmulde piste and leads along the ski path Hirschegg-Mittelberg. At the crossroads direction Hirschegg and down to the Heuberg descend. Signposted is the track with boards on which the behavioral instructions (FIS rules) are presented.

    BURMIS WINTER GET-TOGETHER

    Let's end the day together around the campfire! To warm up, Burmis special drink is prepared in a large kettle (free while supplies last). Keep a lookout: with some luck, our marmot Burmi will come by in person and watch you make snow angels and build snowmen. At 5 pm you can start looking for Burmi's secret treasure (from age 4).
